Situated at Berwick next to the coast in North Northumberland a county of castles and battle sites, there is a large tradition of craftsmanship in this area.

We have been making hand turned fountain and ballpoint pens for many years, and the designs we use are named after the towns and villages in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

My wife Christine designs and casts the kinrite blanks and I turn and assemble the pens from these blanks and selected exotic hardwoods.

We never make the same blank twice and every piece of wood is different so you can be assured of owning an individually designed pen.

We make on average 10 to 15 pens a week as well as bespoke orders. There is no mass production involved. We sell our pens via this web site as well as attending various craft fairs in Northern England and Southern Scotland. Having  sent pens all around the world we have made many new friends over the years. Our pens are competitively priced when you take in to consideration that to make the average pen takes 2 to 3 hours and the rising price and hard to find exotic hardwoods we use. We will never get rich but we both enjoy what we do.

Well into retirement age we both agree we will carry on as long as we are able and hope to be making pens for a few more years. When making contact either via e-mail, text or a phone call you can be assured you will get a personal service. We look forward to having you as a new customer and providing you with a pen you can treasure and hand down to your children.
